This project was developed during my stay as an artist in residence at @paradise__air in the city of Matsudo in Japan.

Inspired by the self-made furniture I came accross during my walks in the city, I developed a series of simple DIY furniture that can be built with standard materials available at most Japanese hardware stores. The series revolves around a basic principle of construction that is expanded in various ways, resulting in a stool, a low bench, a high bench, and a bookshelf. The furniture is assembled with stainless steel screws, and can be flat packed.
